The Cross Country Short Course is part of Cycling BC’s XCO series.
What to expect
If you’re not up for the marathon just yet, we offer a shorter 25kms course. You’ll be turned up Frogger at the first feed station and although you’ll miss a lot of logging road, the infamous Cabin Fever and Millipede, Escalator and Elevator, you will still enjoy some serious climbing and wonderful viewpoints.
This is the mandatory race for the U17s and Juniors who are vying for a spot on the BC Provincial Team.
It costs the same as the marathon and if you get to the cutoff and change your mind, it’s all cool. Just let the marshal know and we’ll fix it at the finish.
We reserve the right to amend the course according to weather limitations and any other factors we have no control over.
The mass start will be at 10am. Self-seeding according to your expected completion time.
One feed station along the way will provide fruit, fig newtons, Gatorade, and water.
In addition to the feed stations we’ll have many course marshalls and first-aiders and we will supply you with an emergency cell phone number at check-in that you can have in your cell phone for emergencies.
